Casting
We auditioned 3 different people for each role and have chosen the ones which stood out to us for the female and male role.
Character 1: Male
Timmy is a 13 year boy who is in year 8 studying at Kettering Buccleuch Academy. Timmy has a crush on an older girl who is in 6th form. He's hobbies include playing on the PS4 and playing football with his mates. He is very confident for his age, almost to an extent where it could be seen as cocky.
The part of Timmy will be played by Mareks Klein who is 14 years of age doing his GCSE's including drama. This is why we chose him as he is interested in acting, therefore will take his role seriously. He is also very confident in front of a camera.
Character 2: Female
Mia is a 17 year old girl currently doing her A-levels. Mia is the most popular girl in her year group and is quite nasty. She does come across as very bitchy and cold hearted. Yet Timmy seems to adore her.
The part of Mia will be played by Imogen Orr who is 16 years old currently in 6th form. Imogen is quite confident so wouldn't mind being in front of the camera. She is also really good at drama so those skills will transfer into her role of actin in this scenario. Her and the character Mia have similar qualities which will make it easier for her to bring the character Mia to life.
